New Zealand Scampi
Naturally grown in the deep waters (150-600 meters) between Antarctica and New Zealand, scampis are immediately being frozen right after being caught. Scampi was introduced into the Quota Management System in 2004, regulating the competitive catch limits by the government.
Scampi are a rare delicacy and highly sought after. Its white, meaty flesh is sweet and delicate.
